The Project Manager applies the knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project(s) to ensure efficient execution of site projects in accordance with the agreed project plan and for delivering the committed project targets.
The Project Manager oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of an ongoing project including planning, budgeting, organizing, leading, and controlling project activities. Responsible for ensuring effective and harmonized communication channels are in place.
Projects will include scopes that encompass multi-million dollar budgets and deliverables that span multiple years.

These responsibilities include some of the following: Starting from initiation to sustain and close-out to assure an outcome which meets all the defined project objectives for cost, schedule, quality (fit for purpose), and delivers the business benefits Decide project resource requirements and resourcing strategy for project team as well as recruit team. Influence key stakeholders for embedded local resources. Establish team roles and responsibilities and time commitments for all team members Drives one or several projects simultaneously working with the technical project leaders to designs the project structure and organization (management, controls, governance) and ensures efficient resource management Controls the project(s): prepares and updates the project end to end plan and associated resources required using appropriate project management tools, such as Microsoft Project Manages the project steering/core team meetings and drives stakeholder management and alignment working across boundaries towards common project goals Prepares monthly progress reports and communicates the critical items to the Steering and Sponsor teams, including interfacing and direct communication with senior management, follows the planning and controls the budget Develops a risk management strategy and manages associated mitigation plan Manage additional local projects as appropriate, and other duties as assigned Perform all job responsibilities in compliance with applicable EHS and GMP regulations, guidelines, policies, GSK standard operating & safety procedures, and industry practice and Industrial Excellence initiatives Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline 3+ years of experience working with and managing projects in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry to include processes of scope development, cost estimating, scheduling, change control, quality control, risk management, procurement, contracting and reporting3+ years experience required in project management and associated tools (e.g., MS Project) managing multi-million-dollar projects (Benefits Management, ROI)Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Engineering or related discipline Demonstrated project management skills with successful implementation experience of global projects/programsAbility to work through complex data/information to derive simple solutionsDemonstrated experience in implementing operational excellence methodologies and change management principles preferredStrong presentation skills and proficient with Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint.Strong analytical skillsExperience working in global multicultural environment and complex matrix organizationsExcellent written and spoken EnglishThorough knowledge of GMP manufacturing, and understanding of validation of pharmaceutical facilities, equipment and processes. Knowledge of cGMP regulatory compliance standards and regulatory filings.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in order to achieve deliverables and adhere to timelines and budgetsAbility to achieve effective execution of complex projects and programsAbility to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization.
