Project Manager (Mount Hope, Ohio)
Our client, world-renowned, is currently hiring a Project Manager to facilitate timing of Manufacturing Engineering Projects. This person will report to the Director of Manufacturing. The Project Manager role is a Contract role, 12 Month project (possibility a bit longer than a year, but still a Temporary Contract role). The ideal person will be a retired Project Manager looking to work 20-30 hours per week for about a year. Role is onsite, Mount Hope, Ohio, and schedule is flexible.
Responsibilities:
Develop timeline and tracking documents for project status.
Conduct routine update meetings and communicate outcomes.
Coordinate design, quality, production resources.
Work with departmental functions to establish necessary activities, establish ownership, and set target dates.
Completing cost estimating activities (analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other related manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred.
Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
5-10 years’ experience in manufacturing-based project management.
CPM certification (CAPM, PMP, etc. preferred).
Demonstrated leadership skills including conflict resolution, assertiveness and negotiation skills required.
Ability to implement and collaborate within a team-based matrix organization across all business functions, levels and cultures.
Excellent interpersonal and influence management skills including evidence of managing multi-disciplinary teams.
Demonstrated ability to identify risks, escalate issues and inform management in all project- related functional areas.
