The Project Coordinator, Operations will play a key role in delivering Operational support to our national Employee Benefits & Retirement operations team. This individual will closely collaborate with our Chief Operating Officer and the entire operations team. They will be responsible for managing a multitude of key tasks essential for us to achieve our goals.
This role will allow focus on data management, plan member contact, marketing initiatives, and other key projects in our strategic plan. As a part of a national team, you'll be working with multiple stakeholders across our five Canadian regions.
We are looking for a high-energy individual with a passion for getting things done! You'll want a strong working knowledge of data management, Excel, PowerBI and a commitment to customer service. In this diverse role, you'll be working on a variety of internal and externally facing projects. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who's comfortable working independently to provide a wide range of duties to support our business unit.
A day in the life:
Reporting to the Manager, Operations the successful candidate will: Coordinate contact with individual plan members to position HUB's capabilities and offer our advice Triage any inquiries requiring guidance/advice to regionally assigned licensed advisors Track/document all contact and ensure annual touchpoints are established Organize the preparation and delivery of multiple monthly reports to all regional operations leaders Prepare client data reporting for the Operations team, as required Coordinate the delivery of our monthly operations newsletter, in collaboration with our marketing teams Update training manuals for regional teams, as required Manage/maintain national EB SharePoint site, as required Prepare correspondence to leadership, clients or regional audiences, as required Provide regular reporting on key metrics (financial, administrative, or functional) to regional leadership Support licensing and contracting projects, as required Coordinate insurer correspondence to leadership and regions Liaise with other HUB business units to achieve assigned objectives Other duties as assigned Who you are: Must have 2-5 years of operations, administration or project management experience Experience in the insurance industry, in either employee benefits or group retirement, is an asset Proven ability to effectively manage multiple endeavors in a fast paced and agile work environment Highly developed organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including experience delivering presentations both in-person and virtually Self-motivated and driven, with a strong degree of initiative and ability to work independently Proficient in MS Office, with a willingness to learn and interact with MS PowerBI and other AI tools like ChatGPT Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work, with strong analytical skills Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
