Amazon Grocery Logistics (AGL) Delivery is on the lookout for Program Managers ready to embark on an exciting journey with the Grocery Centralization Strategy (GCS) Team. AGL Delivery is a dynamic organization committed to providing customers with speedy and top-quality grocery deliveries right at their doorstep. In this role, you'll collaborate across various functions, including Operations, Supply Chain, Product, and Quality, to lead projects focused on centralizing incident response and automating processes. Your responsibility will be to identify opportunities and create innovative solutions to enhance delivery cost and quality. This role offers high visibility and has a direct, continuous impact on Amazon Grocery customers. We're looking for an exceptional candidate with strong analytical skills and a proven track record in delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Key job responsibilities
Be the single-threaded owner responsible for planning, execution, and delivery of defined projects.
Influence the design and development of strategic processes.
Manage and deliver results on complex projects across multiple organizations.
Work with program, product, supply chain managers, and business leaders to communicate the impact of critical business initiatives.
Write scripts, queries, and macros to automate repetitive tasks using Python, SQL, or Macros.
Collect and analyze business requirements for product requests, engage in negotiations to prioritize features, and lead the rollout of the product.
Gather and analyze data to help drive business decisions.

As a Program Manager on the GCS team, your day begins by understanding customer and stakeholder pain points. You break down these issues into manageable problems, prioritize them based on business impact, collaborate with partner teams, and implement innovative solutions across the Grocery network. You ensure success through diligent metric tracking. It's a structured, impactful routine where you make a lasting difference.
About the team
The Grocery Centralization Strategy (GCS) is a part of the Amazon Grocery Logistics (AGL) Delivery organization, which is focused on centralizing last-mile delivery-related virtual tasks. The team acts as a liaison between Operations and Tech to bridge and build scalable, innovative products that improve delivery cost and quality. GCS is a growing team that consists of four diverse, highly motivated individuals, each responsible for a specific program in Grocery.

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of program or project management experience
3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
3+ years of data analysis experience
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
3+ years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
Master's degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
