  Position Summary

  We seek a seasoned professional to join our Enterprise Resilience team as a Program Manager. You will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and driving the operations of our organization's Enterprise Resilience and Crisis Management programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong program and project management background with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex programs on time and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, attention to detail, an organized methodology, and the ability to navigate complex situations with a calm and decisive approach.

  This leader will mature and maintain critical programs, initiatives, and projects for the enterprise resilience programs across a matrixed environment. You will partner closely with our Enterprise Resilience team, key stakeholder groups across F5, and all levels of leadership to ensure that F5 is adequately prepared for a critical business disruption so that its people, processes, systems, facilities, and other assets are able to respond, recover, and resume operations safely and efficiently.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Responsible for planning and managing multiple simultaneous initiatives and projects to meet Enterprise Resilience program commitments.

  Establish and maintain a multi-year program roadmap with multiple workstreams and projects aligned to commitments required by executive leadership

  Provide advice, counsel, and training to business and corporate units on resilience, continuity, risk, and crisis program management topics; including policies, standards, procedures and reporting metrics.

  Ensure that initiatives have clear outcomes, scope, success criteria, and alignment with overall business objectives.

  Develop and maintain a program plan, roadmap, and timelines - identify workstreams and monitor the execution of the program per scope, schedule, resourcing, and budget.

  Establish team structure for each workstream, providing direction to project leads and coordinators on various workstreams to manage scope, timelines, deliverables, and risks to the overall program.

  Create and monitor measures of success / KPIs for the program, initiatives, and projects.

  Partner with Change Management to identify a change management strategy and plan to ensure business readiness, engagement, and adoption.

  Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across various business units and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

  Serve as an escalation point on risks, issues, and decisions, course-correcting as needed.

  Regularly update stakeholders and leadership on program status, milestones, and critical performance metrics.

  Establish program rhythm of business - including communications, status reports, and readouts to stakeholders and leadership.

  Design and deliver executive-level presentations as needed.

  Bring an outstanding blend of business and technical acumen.

  Ensure program management best practices, methodologies, and tools are used to enhance project execution efficiency and effectiveness.

  Perform other related duties as assigned.

  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  Experience program/project managing initiatives related to enterprise resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, and/or enterprise risk.

  Demonstrated knowledge of program and project management methodologies - waterfall, agile, kanban, etc.

  Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, program development, resource allocation, budget management, and risk assessment.

  Proficiency in program management software and tools to facilitate efficient program planning, tracking, and reporting.

  Strong interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and ability to develop effective partnerships across the company to engage, align, and gain stakeholder buy-in.

  Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize information, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions under pressure.

  Ability to communicate effectively across written, verbal, and presentation formats to all levels of the organization from team members to executives

  Ability to give executive summaries to any level of leadership is key

  Strong organization and time management skills to keep programs on track

  Ability to manage effectively in fast paced environment with multiple deadlines and competing priorities

  Strong business acumen and understanding of enterprise-level processes and the interplay between functions

  Ability to think strategically and act tactically as needed and be willing to roll your sleeves up.

  Has a learning mindset, keeps up on industry trends, research, and best practices.

  Qualifications

  Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

  6+ years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex, high-impact projects at technology-based companies or within technical domains

  PMP, PgMP, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable

  Governance, Risk, Compliance, Continuity, and/or Emergency management certifications are a plus

  The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $114,046.00 - $171,070.00

  F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5's differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
