Ford Model E is responsible for developing the key technologies and capabilities - such as EV platforms, batteries, e-motors, inverters, charging and recycling - to create ground-up, breakthrough electric vehicles. RESPONSIBILITIES
What you'll be able to do:
Manage program dashboard - make live reporting possible through collaboration with team leaders and automating program management tools Manage program issue tracking environments Identify major program issues and help needed, and take action to resolve them Manage and maintain program sharing sites Organize product reviews Manage program communications and meetings Resolve cross-functional cost, quality and timing conflicts and drive consensus Coordinate manufacturing / labor studies Manage program engineering and resource utilization
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
B.S. in an engineering field Experience with delivering commodities (one or two) at an OEM, from cradle to grave (on the same commodity/program is preferred; however scattered delivery is okay too). Experience with system level or vehicle level development and integration (for example in a SPMT, program management, planning/strategy/architecture, PMT/systems engineering capacity) Experience with program delivery - geometric development and convergence, and engineering sign off
Preferred Requirements:
Passion for/deeply familiar with electric vehicles engineering Familiar with security protocols and requirements of the automotive industry, and the concepts of Proprietary, Confidential and Secret data Bonus points for a car-related or other technology/mobility related / hands-on hobby (track time, work on own car, flying/cycling, boating, AV hobbyist, etc.) Knowledge of Ford's specific product development systems is preferred
