JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Title Production Supervisor Company: WesternBuilding Products Location: Milwaukee, WI Summary Support the DepartmentManager to ensure that production goals are met in alignment withcompany and customer quality standards; organize and control the releaseof materials to support the production schedule. Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives to meet(SQDC) safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. Maintain opencommunication with employees providing guidance, training, and feedback.Oversee and coach employees for improved performance. Conductperformance reviews. Maintain staff by interviewing, selecting,orienting, training employees, and developing personal growthopportunities. Ensure the safe use of equipment and adherence toscheduled regular maintenance. Ensure the department area is clean,organized, and free of dangers or hazards. Ensure all environmentalobligations are met. Enforce safety, housekeeping, and qualityguidelines in accordance with company standards. Work closely with othersupervisors in a cooperative manner to ensure proper flow of materialfor on-time delivery. Organize workflow by assigning responsibilitiesand preparing schedules. Monitor output according to specifications andtake necessary action to improve. Maintain reports on performance andprogress of each employee as well as the department. Identify issues inefficiency and suggest improvements. Follow through on needed actionsfor continuous improvement. Monitor inventory levels and replenishsupplies as needed. Set the example for strong performance throughattendance, civility, cooperation, safety, and housekeeping. Program andoperate shop machinery as needed.
