The Production Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution ofmanufacturing and packaging activities related to planning, scheduling,production reporting, employee performance feedback, and continuousimprovement projects involved in the manufacturing and packaging oflow-protein foods (ie.- frozen, dry-powders). This role ensures dailySafety, Quality, Productivity, Cost, and Team Development targets areachieved; Safety and Quality Procedures are followed; Personnelcertified in operating equipment; Scheduling of resources; Adherence toregulatory requirements and company policies. The supervisor alsomotivates, guides, and trains production personnel. EDUCATION,CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: ? High School Diploma or Equivalent;Technical School or college degree preferred ? 5+ years? experienceworking in a manufacturing environment preferably in a bakery. ?Excellent knowledge of bakery equipment, processes and procedures. ? 2+years? lead or supervisory experience. ? Working knowledge of ISO 9000,HACCP, and Food Safety protocols. ? Strong mathematics skills includingaddition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers andfractions. ? Excellent organizational skills with strong detailorientation. ? Strong verbal and written communication skills. ? Workingknowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,SharePoint) required. ? Strong work ethic demonstrated through reliableattendance, punctuality, and flexibility. ? Proven understanding ofinventory control. ? Working experience with lot tracking, ingredientweight measurements, and process control. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ANDABILITIES: ? While performing the duties of this job, the employeeregularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee occasionallyworks in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wetand/or humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or causticchemicals, extreme cold, and vibration.
