Overview
Reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Manager, the Production Expeditor 1/2 will perform a variety of activities in support of manufacturing. They will gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources. A successful candidate will manage build documentation, participate in tracking assemblies through the workflow, create new documentation, and provide assistance with simple assemblies.
Responsibilities: Build document creation and book scanningCommunicate status of product and associated documentationAssist in processing build documentation ECRsAssist with the transition of product in MRB back into productionInitiate QAIs with guidance from Manufacturing EngineeringCollaborate with planning, production, quality control, and engineeringSimple assembly work, including toolkit assembly and creating assembly level stickers Basic Qualifications (Level 1): High School diploma or equivalent and interest in manufacturing and technologyMS Office Skills (Excel, Word, Power Point)Strong communication and collaboration skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and learn new tasks quicklyOccasional domestic travel up to 10% of the timeU.S. Citizenship is a bona fide requirementAbility to obtain and retain a Top Secret clearance Basic Qualifications (Level 2): In addition to the qualifications above, High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experienceWorking knowledge of manufacturing , procurement, quality basics and engineering flows Experience with databasesExperience using a barcode scanner and hand toolsExperience completing/writing technical documents Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience in an engineering development environmentBasic knowledge of manufacturing, procurement, quality, and engineeringActive Top Secret clearance with Special Program AccessSalary Range: $37,600 - $62,600
Salary Range 2: $44,600 - $74,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
