The VAS Portfolio Operations team is accountable for managing, prioritizing, and commercializing the entire portfolio of Visa’s Value-Added Services offerings and we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Portfolio Insights & Analytics Sr. Manager to join the VAS Portfolio Operations Team. In this role, you will enable better decision making with data and you will be responsible for gathering, extracting, manipulating, analyzing and modelling data. In addition, you will create compelling and accurate dashboards, visuals, charts and other designs that convey lean portfolio insights, data analysis and thought leadership across a variety of formats. As part of this role, you will partner closely with the members of the team, as well as with external stakeholders, including the central owner of all the transformation dashboards. Close partnership, collaboration and alignment will be key to be successful in this role.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Develop and implement data-driven insights and analytics for lean/agile portfolio management
Lead problem solving sessions to develop those analytical solutions that help the VAS organization make data driven decisions
Independently partner with cross-functional business and technical teams to deliver reports that include data insights, interesting trends and opportunities, and answer key business questions.
Lead reporting automation requirements gathering for report/dashboard automation.
Drive detailed data analysis including the identification of data sources and data elements, as well as detailed metrics calculations
Assist in developing documentation around system integration, data flows, data dictionary, user guides and best practices.
Obtain data steward approvals for data access for various data sources and help establish connectivity of data sources with the data warehouse and data lake.
Support the creation of UX wireframes as well as the actual reports and dashboards and perform appropriate quality checks to ensure accuracy.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications Basic qualifications:
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred qualifications:
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- Experience in analyzing data using Python, Tableau, Power BI, and Machine Learning
- Experience in writing SQL queries
- Experience in automating manual spreadsheets.
- Demonstrated proficiency of agile and lean concepts and ability to talk about metrics that support both approaches
- Demonstrated understanding of the lifecycle of a product from concept to launch
- Superior analytic and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytic rigor and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to convey key insights with data interpreting and displaying business concepts through powerful visuals.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and tools- eagerness to continue improving technical skills and capabilities.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 133,000.00 to 173,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
