About Product Manager/Senior Product Manager - CAS

At Bazaarvoice, we create smart shopping experiences. Through our expansive global network, product-passionate community & enterprise technology, we connect thousands of brands and retailers with billions of consumers. Our solutions enable brands to connect with consumers and collect valuable user-generated content, at an unprecedented scale. This content achieves global reach by leveraging our extensive and ever-expanding retail, social & search syndication network. And we make it easy for brands & retailers to gain valuable business insights from real-time consumer feedback with intuitive tools and dashboards. The result is smarter shopping: loyal customers, increased sales, and improved products.

The problem we are trying to solve : Brands and retailers struggle to make real connections with consumers. It's a challenge to deliver trustworthy and inspiring content in the moments that matter most during the discovery and purchase cycle. The result? Time and money spent on content that doesn't attract new consumers, convert them, or earn their long-term loyalty.

Our brand promise : closing the gap between brands and consumers.

Founded in 2005, Bazaarvoice is headquartered in Austin, Texas with offices in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

It’s official: Bazaarvoice is a Great Place to Work in the US , Australia, India, Lithuania, France, Germany and the UK!

Bazaarvoice is looking for a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager to join us in building the future of product discovery. As part of the Influenster team, you’ll tackle complex product challenges; you’ll gather and synthesize inputs from members, clients, and colleagues; you’ll take the lead on core features and iterative improvements; and you’ll help set our product strategy.

We’re not hiring project managers; you’ll be given substantial feature ownership and encouraged to evangelize a product vision that’s based on customer research, data analysis, and good product intuition. You’ll balance shipping truly innovative products with keeping our promises to existing users and customers.

We’re not religious about process methodologies; we believe in using iterative processes that work for the moment, and holding retrospectives to improve how we work over time.

About You:You’re able to articulate what a winning product looks like. You can influence not only your own team, but also the company as a whole and external clients. You always have empathy for clients and customers. You partner well with engineers and product designers to conceptualize, ship, and iterate on products users love. You obsess over data. You love digging into data and extracting meaningful insights to make smart product decisions. You have a good sense of which features are essential for a product launch and which ones can be scaled back or done later, and you focus the team on the key priorities. You can see the bigger picture but are also comfortable delving deep into technical requirements. You’re hyper-organized, practical, and love finding new ways to do things faster and better. You’re comfortable with ambiguity, and are able to create product direction out of an ill-defined problem space. You prefer to go straight to the source -- our clients -- when designing improvements to their experience. You know when to advocate for a usability win, even when it’s more difficult to achieve technically.People enjoy working with you, and you bring out the best in your team. You write clear user stories and validate your assumptions and hypotheses through experimentation, testing, and research.

Qualifications:2+ years of experience in product management, program management, or a related field.A proven track record of shipping features for either consumer and/or enterprise applications.Experience working closely with engineers and product designers.
