RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and manage Ford credit IT core retail systems and teams in China, include manage the local external technical resources. Work closely with the Product Owners to establish and/or contribute to the product roadmap whilst ensuring the development teams understand this strategy. Clearly communicate product vision to team members and stakeholders. Initiate or translate the product road map into manageable product features in the backlog. Understand business and user priorities, and technical feasibility in order to prioritize the product backlog and manage risks. Ensure the backlog is populated with enough prioritized user stories that are ready to be estimated for the next two iterations. Define analytics to be collected regarding the product and prioritizes their collection. Verify that the delivered software product meets desired business outcomes. Redefine the backlog content to optimize business outcomes based on software product feedback. Employ and/or champions Agile software processes, culture, best practices, and techniques. Gather user and stakeholder feedback to drive improvements and inform the product roadmap. Actively employ user research using lean validation techniques. Actively manage features and dependencies in and across product releases. Communicate openly and frequently with the team by being responsive to in-person prompts. Actively work to remove impediments and blockers to team delivery. Identify risks, and implements mitigation and contingency plans, focused on early mitigation or elimination of risks. Assess the overall health of the product and prompts key decisions to move it forward. Demonstrate a deep understanding of COTS (Commercial Off the Shelf) technology and its usage in area of specialization. Influence vendor(s) in areas of specialty including the content of future product releases and roadmaps. Lead IT investment, demand management, and portfolio management. Conduct customer and user-centric workshops. Conduct relevant proofs of concept with business partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
• 5+ years. At least 3 years experiences in product and team management
• Experience as IT professional of IT product delivery/management or IT Development/ operation support/management.
• Good understanding of IT security and controls and IT security risk management
• Previously working in a large/medium size IT organization with experience of IT project delivery/development/management or product/project management role
• Experience of AFC industry retail loan business is required
• Familiar with Operating System, DevOps, CICD, and Java background is required
• Effective to strong communications, negotiation, and related skills
• Capability (demonstrated) to manage complex initiatives (integration, risks, issues etc.)
• Experience in stakeholder management
• Ability to think innovatively to identify product improvements using data and or customer feedback
• Ability to establish strong working relationships
• Ability to provide IT expertise to deliver business strategies or recommend alternative solutions
• Working knowledge of IT
• English communication skill
• Collaboration and facilitation skill to deliver collaborative strategies and solutions
• Problem solving and conflict resolution (removes blockers and trusts team iterations)
