Are you interested in making a difference in how millions of people watch and engage with sports at Apple? We are looking for a product manager for Apple's sports experiences. In this role you will help define and build the product roadmap enabling fans to discover and watch the sports events and stories they love. You will create experiences that make it simple and delightful for sports fans to follow, watch, and interact with all their favorite leagues and teams. This role is cross-functional, and you will collaborate with a wide range of teams, including business, engineering, design, operations, legal, finance, marketing communications, to name a few. To be successful, you should be customer-focused, highly analytical, team-focused, thrive in ambiguous environments, and love sports and entertainment.

  5+ years of experience in media/sports product management, product development, or technology. Experience with all aspects of roadmap strategy and definition, product requirements, feature delivery and trade offs of a product, end to end product delivery. Have a background in digital video and/or media Experience chipping in to engineering discussions about technology decisions and product strategy. Experience finding avenues to understand customers' needs and working their feedback into your product roadmap. You put what's in the best interest of customers above all else. You have strong consumer product instincts and intuitively understand why product ideas will succeed. Have high standards and strive for the best experience, but are willing to make compromises when necessary. Excel at leading through influence, debate, and telling compelling stories directly and indirectly. Self-aware and savvy in tailoring your message to your audience as well as delivering it in a clear, concise, and confident manner. Deeply value attention-to-detail and believe that an extraordinary product is the sum of an inordinate number of small, thoughtful decisions. Knowledge of key players, technologies, capabilities, and competitors of Apple services. Unflappable in working in situations where there is ambiguity yet thrive in finding solutions on your own and with peers.

  - Develop a detailed understanding of the sports market segments, and continually assess the competitive landscape and emerging industry trends. - Contribute to a multi-year roadmap that delivers on the product strategy and vision through collaboration with business, design, and engineering teams. - Define product features through comprehensive documentation including scope, key deliverables, goals, technical requirements, user stories, milestones, and dependencies. - Collaborate with many teams across Apple to bring the roadmap to life. - Partner with analytics and research groups, use data to discover challenges, prioritize opportunities, and drive alignment to make a sports experience customers love. - Evaluate the competitive landscape and propose ways to innovate and not just imitate. - Coordinate and review launch activities and deliverables for new features in conjunction with business, public relations, AppleCare, marketing communications, and many others. - Establish an in-depth knowledge of Apple's products and services ecosystem to inform strategy and create the best experience for fans.

  At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700 and $241,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

  Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
