  Position Summary

  The CVS Specialty Patient Experience and Digital Innovation team defines, develops, and implements pilots and innovative programs to create a differentiated experience for patients, improve and advance clinical care, and manage overall costs. We are a world class organization and this role is a leading contributor to manage the development of specialty solutions and new business opportunities.

  As a Senior Manager on the Specialty Innovation team, you will be responsible for multiple aspects of building a digital-first, best-in-class specialty pharmacy that improves health outcomes for specialty patients and the business. This role will include developing new and innovative programs and services from ideation to execution as well as managing existing clinical programs with a continuous improvement mindset. Particular emphasis would be on ideating and driving services, using data and analytics to gather insights and measure outcomes, product design, build and execution, and strategic partnerships with operations and digital stakeholders.

  This role will: Contribute to and execute the strategy and end-to-end development of new programs and services in collaboration with digital and operations stakeholders including defining project requirements, project plans, process definitions, commercialization, and sales strategies, defining success measures, and ongoing product improvement Think enterprise and join forces with others to improve the patient experience and both clinical and business outcomes Interpret data to build actionable insights to improve the patient experience Serve as key contributor and subject matter expert on specialty innovation portfolio products Collaborate closely with the organization leadership team, data and analytics teams, digital, operations, and other functions to drive data insights, to identify and understand new use cases, and build/lead their implementation Engage cross-functionally across the organization to design solutions, develop test and implementation plans, drive results, and resolve issues encountered Build, execute, and report product requirements & KPIs for internal and external teams Develop internal product training and other business release management related communications Be accountable as a product owner to monitor product performance and proactively identify and address issues Lead and manage other team members, supporting their development and being responsible for optimizing their performance Precept and manage learners include interns and pharmacy residents Required Qualifications5+ years healthcare industry work experience3+ year in innovation or product development role3+ experience in specialty pharmacyAbility and flexibility to travel up to 10%High energy and works with sense of urgency to deliver resultsHighest level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed to meet deadlinesAbility to plan, monitor and deliver project resultsStrong business acumen, credibility with colleagues and communication skills required to represent requirements to cross-functional teams and partner with stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to develop and deliver presentations to multi-level leadership and operational audiences Preferred QualificationsPharmD from an accredited pharmacy schoolPharmacist License in good standing from any stateGraduation from an accredited PGY-1 Residency Program in specialty or managed careAdvanced working knowledge of pharmacy systems like SPARCs, SPRx, CE2000, PeopleSafe, ProNet (not inclusive list)Advanced working knowledge and ability to leverage Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel)Ability to effectively analyze and synthesize large amounts of complex data into relevant insights and present data in a logical, concise manner using tools like tableauAbility to produce results by working within established deadlines, and understanding next stepsBachelors or above degree or training in computer science, mathematics, business strongly preferredProject management experienceTeaching certificate and/or experience as a preceptor of students, residents, or bothEducation

  Pay Range

  The typical pay range for this role is:

  $79,200.00 - $170,800.00

  This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
