　　U.S. Data Security ("USDS") is a standalone entity of TikTok in the U.S. This new security-first division was created to bring heightened focus and governance to our data protection policies and content assurance protocols to keep U.S. users safe. 　　The USDS-Platform and Community Integrity (PaCI) team is missioned to: - Protect U.S. TikTok users, including and beyond content consumers, creators, advertisers; - Secure platform health and community experience authenticity; - Build infrastructures, platforms and technologies, as well as to collaborate with many cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The PaCI team works to minimize the damage of inauthentic behaviors on TikTok platforms, covering multiple classical and novel community and business risk areas such as account integrity, engagement authenticity, anti-spam, API abuse, growth fraud, live streaming security and financial safety, etc. In this team, you'll have a unique opportunity to have first-hand exposure to the strategy of the company in key security initiatives, especially in building scalable and robust, intelligent and privacy-safe, secure, and product-friendly systems and solutions. Our challenges are not some regular day-to-day technical puzzles -- You'll be part of a team that's developing novel solutions to first-seen challenges of a non-stop evolution of a phenomenal product eco-system. The work needs to be fast, transferrable, while still down to the ground to make quick and solid differences.

　　In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.

　　Responsibilities

　　Responsible for building up risk control policy and process, working to promote transparency and understanding of policies, and educating internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with our processes

　　Assist in the construction, and optimization of internal platforms and tools, and be responsible for promotion

　　Develop user education programs to enhance user security awareness.

　　Collaborate with the TikTok business teams (Live, DM, Creator Funds, and many others) to review the business teams' features

　　Help them to understand if there are any potential risks, align the risk metrics of the features (for example, how do we measure capital loss from the business, false negative, false positive from the risk control side).

　　Work with our DS/MLE to add risk control strategies to protect the features and closely monitor the risk metrics we defined with the business teams.

　　Bridge the gap between business PM and our DS/MLE PM to understand the attack and mitigate it

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor's degree or above

　　2+ years of product management experience

　　Excellent project management and communication skills, able to influence and unite cross-functional teams

　　Ability to maintain composure in critical situations and communicate clearly with both internal and external stakeholders

　　Details-oriented, self-driven and curious to learn and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

　　[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

　　The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $132696 - $215080 annually.

　　Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
