About the Role:
As a Product Manager for Infrastructure Technology, you will work with other product managers to deliver highly visible platform engineering products that will have a positive business impact on internal Splunkers. You will be developer focused to create alignment across teams and provide guidance, documentation and necessary tools to help individual product or feature teams easily utilize shared platform services. In this role, you will assist with executing on a department-wide roadmap, analyzing business KPIs, collaborating with engineers to translate user requirements into technical solutions, and overseeing at least two teams' Agile rituals.
For this position, you will need to use your technical expertise and deep experience in delivering features using Agile methodologies as a Product Owner. To be successful you will have to balance priorities, collaborate with leaders while defining detailed functional requirements, delivering within an agile delivery framework, and supervising key performance indicators.
This position requires you to be a self-starter with the ability to take ownership, work with tight timelines, handle various tasks simultaneously while continuing to develop a positive work culture. Responsibilities
Evangelize and promote shared platform services across all products, enable teams for easy adoption and create strong alignment between teamsBuild and maintain an integration platform/framework with all necessary services, SDKs, API endpoints and documentation to significantly accelerate infrastructure required for products and stakeholders.Assist with the implementation of the Infrastructure Management roadmap.Assist Agile Teams with their rituals-Sprint Planning, Standup, Retrospective, RefinementPartner with Sr. product manager to align on strategies, roadmaps, priorities, dependencies, and releases to mitigate risks and issues.Define and standardize Key Performance Indicators that will help aid in the decision-making process and showcase results.Create and track OKRs for infrastructure technology.Manage the backlog to ensure the highest business value is being delivered to our customers.Author technical feature requirements in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria for varying business use cases.Assist in creating and presenting content for leadership.Present roadmaps, complex ideas, and features to a broad audience effectively.Requirements
4+ years of experience as a technical product managerA team player with a relentlessly positive outlook and entrepreneurial spiritPast experience working on internal tooling.Intimate knowledge of Agile methodologies and core values to deliver work within the framework as a Product Owner.A Jack/Jane of all trades who is comfortable managing a lot of different priorities at once.Experience collecting and analyzing data to create business impacting stories.Independently author well-written feature requirements in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria for complex technical use cases.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring a high degree of productivity, adaptability, innovation and follow-through.Strong communication skills: ability to translate quantitative details into clear, succinct summaries and recommendations and influence decisions for peers and executive audiences.Prior experience with Splunk Products is preferred.Minimum: Bachelor's DegreeWhat We Offer You:

Base Pay Range
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
Base Pay Range: $125,600.00 - 172,700.00 per year
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts
Base Pay Range: $112,000.00 - 154,000.00 per year
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
Base Pay Range: $104,000.00 - 143,000.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
