  Team Summary

  DPS Forward is a new, API based solution designed for scaling Fintechs and transforming Financial Institutions.  Our focus is to maximize the value we deliver within the ever-changing payments landscape and bring all the global assets under the Visa umbrella to optimize our solutions.

We are building a start-up within a large company, so we are seeking people who want to grow and transform a business.

  What a Product Manager does at Visa:

  Visa is searching for a Singapore based Product Manager to play a critical role in the DPS Issuer Processing product solution. Working as part of a small but growing team with a start-up culture, and supported by strong strategy, global product and technical teams, you will use your breadth of software and product development skills to primarily support the Singapore-based scrum team.

  The Product Manager's primary responsibility is to build products and solutions that deliver delightful experiences with a substantial value proposition across the payment ecosystem. To be successful, the individual must maintain a high level of coordination and collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholder teams globally. The ideal person for this role should have a passion for innovation in payments, technology, and product management, be detail-oriented, and can drive results within a complex environment.

  The Product Manager will work with internal and external clients to understand the solution they are looking to develop. They will have an understanding the competitive and market landscape, Visa and DPS solutions, and use that knowledge in engagements. The person is expected to have a key role in setting the strategy and influencing the roadmap.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Work closely with clients, partners, business unit leaders, engineering, architects, user experience and global cross functional counterparts to build, iterate and refine new issuer processing solutions.

  Actively participate in feature refinement sessions to gain understanding of new features and provide input on potential areas of impact

  Refine an assigned EPIC/feature by collaborating with stakeholders, performing market research and analyzing existing solution to ensure business impacts are identified and are accounted for

  Ensure solutions are extensible to all clients and can serve multiple use cases whenever possible

  Play the role of a Product Owner on agile scrum team and will:

  Ensure an agile mindset in the team delivery and bring product vision, customer insights and feedback to the team.

  Decompose features into user stories and support development activities

  Actively manage and prioritize team backlog and evaluate changing business as well as market conditions and impact to priorities

  Communicate status updates in a transparent manner with key stakeholders on a frequent basis

  Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to effectively build, launch, commercialize and communicate new product features

  Deliver product and feature demos that communicate product value proposition and features and benefits

  Own the feature through development lifecycle till client consumption in production including Go to Market (GTM), service description and onboarding documentation as necessary

  Appropriately prioritize defects based on impact and provide update to stakeholders on frequent basis

  Serve as an expert in assigned areas of product to all internal and external stakeholders, both in communicating updates and soliciting feedback and new ideas to drive better products.

  Support and communicate an overall product vision to both internal and external stakeholders and how it relates to the achievement of long-term business objectives

  Demonstrate leadership principles by communicating openly, collaborating effectively, enabling, and inspiring others, and excelling with partner

  Use knowledge of a solution or service to be involved in shaping their future development in line with the customer segments

  Identify opportunities for Visa Product to create market-leading solutions that satisfy customers and grow the business.

This role will lead our second scrum team in Singapore which will be part of a larger Agile train in Denver and the UK. The strategically important program will deliver Value Added Services across the globe.

  Projects you will be a part of:

  At DPS Forward, we focus on simplifying the payments for our clients so that they can bring differentiating and innovative solutions to market which their customers love, all while making payments accessible to everyone everywhere. In this role, you will work on strategic initiatives such as simplifying the client onboarding experience, modernizing the platform, and expanding our addressable market, among others. These tasks will require you to improvise and come up with innovative solutions to meet our objectives.

   

   

  Qualifications What you will need:

  Minimum 6 to 8 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters or MBA) or a minimum of 2 years of work experience with a PhDMust have a passion for the future of paymentsA proactive and driven individual with the capacity to adapt to solve problems, address challenges and enable progressionHighly motivated team member who cultivates effective relationships with different levels of the organization, clients, and partners to accomplish shared business prioritiesPrior experience working within an agile product development environmentScaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience is preferred but not requiredTechnical acumen and an ability to engage with developers and product to develop solutions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work creatively, strong problem solving skills, and a clear ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.Curious and inquisitive problem solver, will lead in difficult and large problem areas by acting proactivelyStrong team player, self motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating cross functional activities, obtain buy in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately What will also help:

  Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of issuer processing, payments, payment standards, scheme rules, payment processing technologies and regulations.Minimum 2 years of Payments experience in particular card based transaction processingExperience with ISO 8583 and/or ISO20022SaaS or similar background with a mindset towards automation and software experiences.Working experience in using Jira and Confluence.Interest in payments and innovation in the marketplace.Entrepreneurial mindset Additional Information Visa is an EEO Employer.
