The Peripheral Vascular Health (PVH) Operating Unit is dedicated to the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous diseases. We offer our physician customers a comprehensive suite of products and therapies to treat varying degrees of vascular disease — disorders of the circulatory system outside of the brain and heart. As the Product Manager for AV (arteriovenous) Access and Carotid therapies, you will be a vital part of the Medtronic PVH Marketing team, reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager of Peripheral Vascular Western Europe. Your role is critical in driving market strategies for our advanced therapies, shaping the future of patient care in ESKD (end-stage renal disease) and carotid disease areas while supporting market development and gain market share.
A Day in the Life
• Develop marketing strategy and plan for Western Europe while developing marketing programs and collateral together with marketing communications team and external agency.
• Work in close cooperation with Countries/Regions to ensure optimal implementation of tactical plans execution and alignment to achieve business objectives while supporting market development in the countries.
• Partner closely with the Global Business Unit (Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Training) and European Support Functions (Supply Chain, Pricing, Reimbursement, Regulatory Affairs) to align on objectives and secure appropriate support.
• Challenge the status quo and prioritize innovative strategies and programs for effective competitive differentiation. - Leverage of new technologies to deliver tools and programs internally and externally to the medical community.
• Collaborate with Training & Education (T&E) and Medical science to frame educational activities and programs and aim to increase general disease and therapy awareness with targeted marketing activities/campaigns.
• Lead all operational aspects of product management, including short-term and long-term demand and supply planning, and inventory management.
• Provide guidelines for financial planning and forecasting as well as strategic planning exercises and support regional activities for promotion and public relations, including support for international conferences and events.
Must Haves
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) or master's degree in science or business-related field
• Minimum 3-5 years marketing experience in medical devices industry
• Proven experience of working in a cross-functional team and leading with influence and navigating the matrix successfully
• Analytical, creative thinking and operational marketing skills
• A positive person with strong entrepreneurial skills who brings passion, energy and excellence in execution to their work.
• Good knowledge of Business Intelligence & CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software (Tableau, PowerBI, Salesforce)
• Travel: Yes, < 50 % of the Time
Nice to Haves
• Experience in a European role and Peripheral/Vascular
• Experience in market development
• Any other European language is an advantage
