Job Summary:
The Product Manager is responsible for supporting the management and development the Autoimmunity business, including reagents and systems/instruments. This position is also responsible for next generation projects and supporting Werfen affiliates. Primary activities include being the subject matter expert for asigned product lines, conducting Voice of Customer (VOC) activities to keep abreast of market conditions and customer expectations, developing new marketing material and driving the completion of internal projects independently and with minimal supervision. Activities are performed in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), Quality Systems Regulations (QSRs), safety and administrative regulations and policies.

Key Accountabilities
Essential Functions:
In collaboration with the Marketing Management team, responsible for a business line of reagents and instruments regarding both on-market support and the roadmap for additional product development. The latter includes understanding of key market and customer specific requirements through Voice of Customer (VOC) projects.Establishes strong relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to R&D, Clinical Software, RA/QA, Werfen affiliates and customers. Nurtures existing relationships with global opinion leaders in autoimmune diagnostic testing and industry experts. Develops new relationships with individuals in areas of clinical and/or technical interest. Maintains proficiency in clinical utility of reagent products and instrument systems; maintains a scientific library of relevant publications and blueprints to support product features and competitive arguments.Identifies and condenses complex scientific information into concise key selling messages.Serves as the product line lead for key meetings/presentations with strong collaboration and leadership across the different teams to integrate and accelerate development and market development.Monitors current competitors and potential future competitors, and deeply understands their strengths, weakness, opportunity, and threats.Conducts VOC to survey customer expectations and understand unmet needs.Develops compelling promotional material including print, web, and other formats.Develops commercial product training materials and effectively presents material to diverse audiences.Complies with applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs), ISO, FDA and other applicable Quality System regulations, as well as with applicable Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resources and all other regulatory and administrative policies.Demonstrates company values in quality of work and working relationships.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:
Bachelor’s degree in science/biological or business-related fields. B.A., M.A.S., or Ph.D. preferred.Minimum of 3 years’ experience as product manager, application/commercial operations (field functions) or research required. Skills & Capabilities:
Knowledge of immunology and immunoassay technology highly preferred, particularly with ELISA and IFA.Knowledge of the clinical lab environment, ideally with in vitro diagnostics in an FDA regulated environment required.Ability to adapt to an evolving business and industry, leveraging previous knowledge, interpersonal skills, project management skills and self-motivation.Experience leading small to mid-size cross-functional project teams.Solid project management, decision making, and organizational skills required.Proven track record independently producing quality and timely work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated agility, resilience, and initiative.Comfortable working in under multiple deadlines and priorities.Advanced knowledge of healthcare marketing, agency experience preferred.Strong and proactive communicator and influencer in both written and verbal form.
Management has the discretion of substituting relevant work experience for a degree and/or making exceptions to the years of experience requirement.
Travel Requirements:
Up to 30%, may include international travel and/or travel on short notice.The salary range for this position is currently $98,000-$140,000 annual. Individual compensation is based on the candidate’s qualifications for the position, including experience, skills, knowledge, education, certifications, internal equity, budget and/or other business and organizational needs.
