Northrop Grumman is looking for a Principal or Senior Principal Financial Analyst on our International Reporting Team. This position will work directly with and report to the corporate manager of International Reporting in our Corporate office, Falls Church, Virginia.
This role requires coordination with multiple stakeholders, strong analytical and communication skills, and a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools. We are looking for an individual that is proactive and can provide process improvements to maximize efficiencies in financial reporting.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Analyze underlying accounting records and prepare adjusting journal entries, as needed, in preparing statutory financial statementsPrepare statutory financial statements in accordance with local international accounting standardsAssist in the project management of various foreign statutory audits for corporate entitiesConduct reviews of sector international financial statement filingsCoordinate statutory financial deliverables and manage audit requestsPrepare clear and concise audit support, as neededProvide ad hoc financial data to key stakeholdersParticipate in internal and external kick-off meetings and status meetingsThis position can be filled based on the qualifications below:
Basic Qualifications - Principal Financial Analyst Bachelor's degree in accounting and 6 years of relevant work experience Basic Qualifications - Senior Principal Financial Analyst Bachelor's degree in accounting and 10 years of relevant work experienceIn meeting the experience requirements above:Master's degree or CPA may count for 2 years of experienceMaster's degree and CPA may count for a total of 3 years of experiencePublic accounting experience may count for up to an additional year of experience for each year of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications: Recent public accounting firm audit experienceCertified Public AccountantKnowledge of SAP accounting system of recordKnowledge of Workiva financial reporting systemSalary Range: $88,700 - $133,100
Salary Range 2: $109,900 - $164,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
