  Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, we want you to join our Team as a Principal Supply Chain Subcontracts Specialist by applying your experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include business and financial planning, contracts administration, or project management. You will become a part of Northrop Grumman's Global Supply Chain Team within the Defense Systems Sector, which is engaged throughout all aspects of the core technologies used within the B-2 Repair Program . Your responsibilities will encompass the preparation of RFP packages and execution of subcontracts while ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures. You will apply your understanding of the buyer and the seller roles in establishing mutually successful business arrangements, with experiences in statements of work and solicitations/bid packages, proposal evaluation, price and term negotiations, development of contractual documentation and post award administration. You will use your ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by regulated industry.

  Within the GSC organization the candidate will support a team-based program and perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including but not limited to proposal development, negotiations, financial planning, subcontract execution/award, and customer service. Ideal candidates are generally experienced in multiple areas of the procurement or contractual function(s), developing business relationships, and demonstrating an affinity for working with, or understanding the Aerospace Industry. You will be responsible for executing major subcontract activities and providing contractual support and documentation to suppliers, and Internal Work Orders, in support of the B-2 Repairs P rogram, while ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures. The Subcontracts Specialist will coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders such as contracts, engineering, quality, supplier development, planning, operations, program, and end-users.

  This position is in Oklahoma City with an Onsite (hybrid) schedule preferred however, fully remote will be considered based upon experience.

  Basic Qualifications: Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 10 years of relevant experience ; w ill consider 6 years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience with Master's.Solid understanding of procurement principles, policies, procedures, and regulationsCapable of working in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi-task, make decisions in a timely manner and display strong interpersonal skills.Solid knowledge of FAR/DFARS and associated Federal Contracting regulations.Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with myriad levels of the organization including but not limited to developing and delivering to sector, division, business unit and Customer LeadershipAbility to maintain high level of confidence in the areas of supply chain management.Must be able to obtain and hold a Secret clearance.Strong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles, or experiences.Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Preferred Qualifications: Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, TelecommunicationsSAP experienceDemonstrated experience with multiple contracting formats, including Firm Fixed Price and/or Cost ReimbursableFamiliarity with terms and conditions, and/or special contract clauses/types such as: long term agreements and intellectual property agreementsDemonstrated negotiation experience.Salary Range: $72,600 - $108,800

  The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
