This position is for the role of a Seating and Employee Resourcing Project Manager . The selected candidate will be part of a diverse organization within the B-21 Program Integration Team (PIT). The job is onsite in Melbourne, Florida .
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing an array of simple to complex projects related to seating and employee resourcing. Candidate will be one of the primary liaisons/facilitators for the Program and will work closely with Program Management and the local Facilities, IT & Security organizations.
Selected candidate will ensure:
Facilities and IT related tickets get processed and closed out in a timely manner; coordinating, as required. Ticket issues could include, but are not limited to leaking bathroom plumbing, toner that needs replaced in a copier, lights not working, phones, monitors, or PCs not working, chair broken, carpet needs replaced, etc.
Seating issues are not a constraint to the Program. Issues can be small or large and can involve coordinating a move of one person from one desk to another or can be moving hundreds of people from multiple locations to other locations. Responsibilities would include ensuring that the move team (Program Management, IT, Facilities, Industrial Security, Cyber Security, etc.) has a well thought out plan for power, data, desks, cubicles, offices, phones, security, etc. Selected candidate will drive the team to meet critical path schedule, milestones, identify risks and execute mitigations steps to reduce/eliminate risk.
Selected candidate will also communicate status of projects to leadership, proactively identify and communicate risks, expeditiously work issues, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with 6 years of Project Management experience or 4 years with a master's degreeExperience with using Microsoft Office tool suite; Project, PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelActive DoD secret clearance (last investigation completed within last 6 years)Must be able to attain and maintain a Top-secret clearance and Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
