Search Supply and Experiences, within Sponsored Products, is looking for a strong Principal Product Manager - Technical to lead the product vision and execution of ad experiences on the Search page. The candidate will also be responsible for driving cross team and organization collaboration to experiment, launch, and innovate new experiences combining both sponsored and non-sponsored content to develop best-in-class experiences for our hundreds of millions of shoppers worldwide. This is a high visible role, and will require the candidate to be comfortable in making high judgment decisions, both with and without data.
Key job responsibilities
The candidate will work with a talented team of engineers and scientists to define and execute the vision of ad experiences on the Search page. The candidate will be a product visionary, yet pragmatic and agile. The role will require demonstrated experience in operating in a complex and ambiguous environment, but adept at breaking down these ambiguities into manageable and tractable milestones; while achieving the end state through continuous experimentation. Influencing without authority across organizations will be critical to success in this role. The candidate should be comfortable in making high-judgment calls, with and without data. The role requires collaborating with UX designers in crafting how the future of shopping experience on Amazon looks like. The candidate will be a business leader, defining the right success metrics for the program and customers, to drive long-term success. The candidate will be a strong communicator and will be willing to learn and be curious about how downstream and upstreams operate, as it directly influences their business. We are the Search Supply and experience team within Sponsored products - a fast-growing team of customer-obsessed engineers, technologists, product leaders, and scientists. We are focused on continuous exploration of contexts and creatives to drive value for both our customers and advertisers, through continuous innovation. We focus on new ads experiences globally to help shoppers make the most informed purchase decision while helping shortcut the time to discovery that shoppers are highly likely to engage with. We also harvest rich contextual and behavioral signals that are used to optimize our backend models to continually improve the shopper experience. We obsess about our customers and are continuously seeking opportunities to delight them.

Basic Qualifications
8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
1+ years of end to end product delivery experience
10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience with product cycles of 6+ months
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience as a product manager or owner

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
