If so, our Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Principal Logistics Management Analyst to join our growing team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma supporting customer locations such as Baltimore, MD, Edwards AFB, CA, Dyess AFB, TX, and Ellsworth AFB, SD.
You will become part of Northrop Grumman's Lifecycle Sustainment and Modernization Solutions (LSMS). LSMS provides sustainment support for the US Air Force B-1 and B-2 Bombers, E-3 Sentry, Airborne Warning and Control System, and numerous other Government platforms. Our team members complete engineering, reverse engineering, and logistics solution efforts to solve complex obsolescence problems and ensure warfighter supportability.
The selected candidate will work in within our Sustaining Engineering and Technical Center. We have a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with engineers, users, and customers. Our diverse work environment is comprised of nearly equal parts multidisciplinary engineers and other technical experts. Team members will interact with external Government customers and civil partners on a regular basis. As a key team member, you will function in a variety of specializations.
Responsibilities:Develop, coordinate and conduct reliability, maintainability and availability studies and evaluations of engineering design throughout the program life cycle (business capture, development, production and sustainmentProvide reliability, availability, and maintainability guidance and leadership/support to various IPTs, ensuring program requirements and performances are understood.Understand Statement of Work/program specification content and applicability to program implementation, e.g., reliability and availability requirements, requirement allocations and flow down to lower assembly levels.Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability.Perform parts derating, reliability parts count/stress and process grades analysis and reliability simulations.Compile and analyze performance reports and process statistics; investigates and analyzes relevant variables potentially affecting reliability and maintainability.Propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or reliability processes.Determine items requiring environmental testing and number of samples to obtain statistically valid data.Develop and performs Reliability and Maintainability Demonstrations, Fault Detection/Fault Isolation analysis, and Prognostic Health Management analysis.Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards.Contribute to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects and requirements.Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned.Support subcontractor evaluation, selection and coordinate activities with respect to reliability needs.Prepare for, present at and participate in design reviews.Effectively engage with external Customers and internal stakeholders.Support program Engineering Configuration Change Board (CCB) and Corrective Action Board (CAB).Interpret Engineering drawings/schematics.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with a minimum of 6 years of engineering experience OR Master's degree in a STEM discipline with a minimum of 4 years of engineering experience. An additional 4 years of direct relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.Candidate must have solid written and verbal skills in order to effectively interact with Government counterparts, other defense contractor organizations, and other cross-functional organizations.Experience related to assessing and addressing R&M requirements for design development activities.Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.Ability to obtain/maintain access to work on-site in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Preferred Qualifications:Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher).Experience in military, government, commercial aerospace industry (e.g. aviation/equipment maintenance, aircraft operations, or commercial industrial technology companies)Experience with reading and understanding technical data (e.g., Technical Orders, Engineering Drawings, Parts Lists, Bills of Material, Engineering Specifications, etc.)Working knowledge of Maintainability and Mil-Std-1472Knowledge of Military Specifications, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) and other related technical and contractual documentsExperience maintaining E-3, KC-135, B-1, B-52 or B-2 aircraft systems at the operational wing levelExperience with aircraft maintenance Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS)Experience with process improvementExperience coordinating, planning, executing, reporting on ground and/or flight testsSalary Range: $65,900 - $98,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
