Job Description North America Product Innovation is looking to hire a Product Leader with entrepreneurial mindset and a successful track record of building emerging payments products at scale. In this role, you will be responsible to work in partnership with digital, fintech and regional product teams to delivery innovative payment solutions that will drive value for Visa and its customers.
To drive this value-driven innovation culture, we are looking for digital and technology savvy product development leader who are passionate about innovating and delivering truly differentiated payments experiences for specific marketplaces.
The role will work engage across all of the emerging product Solutions Teams of the hub, and the Geography Teams in the markets, as well as with other key functions across the organization: Business Development, Finance, Global Client Management, etc. Thus the role requires a very high degree of cross functional collaboration and engagement.
This role will report into the Head of Product Innovation, North America and will be based in San Francisco, with significant exposure to key stakeholders and leadership across Visa Inc.
This position is an individual contributor role and may require occasional travel to client sites and Visa locations around the globe.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhDExperience in the payments/fintech industry is a must-have.Global mindset with ability to build to scale.Excellent time management skills with ability to manage a large, diverse set of to-dos – vigorously prioritize, stay on top of multiple work streams, monitor progress, hold owners accountable.Communication style motivated by brevity and purposeful outcomes with experience interfacing with executives.Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and across multiple domains.Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.Experience in working with development teams in scrum and agile methodologies.Experience analyzing, interpreting, and leveraging data to make product decisions. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 163,800.00 to 213,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
