  The Skills You Bring

  Required Skills:

  Experience with Acquia product linesPassion for working with Decoupled architectures in Drupal.Experience with Headless Drupal and creating flexible APIs to serve content to many front ends.Experience using JSON: API and REST API to build efficient web services in DrupalAbility to architect innovative Drupal headless APIs using best practices for security and performance.Experience with Acquia Site Studio and building a reusable and configurable component library.Experience with Acquia/Widen Digital Asset Management (DAM)Experience with Acquia Cloud Site Factory (ACSF) and Drupal multisiteMinimum of 7 years of software engineering development experience4+ years' experience with Drupal 8+ and web development experience; custom Drupal Module development and enterprise/multi-site Drupal2+ years' experience with DrushExperience with PHP 8, MySQL 5, and relational databasesCommand of Drupal APIs and hooksExpert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related frameworks (ie Angular and/or Node.js)Strong LAMP backgroundExperience with Git or related version control toolsExperience with RESTful web services design and developmentSolid experience with the Agile (Scrum or Kanban) methodology, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD)

  Any combination of the following is a plus:

  2+ years' experience with Java and Springboot2+ years' experience with Angular 14+Solid experience with writing automated tests (unit, integration, etc.), and experience following Test Driven Development (TDD)Experience mentoring and guiding junior developers.Experience designing for distributed architectures.Any combination of the following is a plus:Experience or exposure to Docker, AWS, and other cloud technologies like EC2, S3, VPCs, CloudFront, on-demand instancesExperience on Automation Tools/Frameworks (JUNIT, Jasmine, Selenium, Protractor)Experience on Windows and Linux systems including administration, Bash scripting and automation.Hands-on experience with the API Design & Development and Micro Services ArchitectureAWS experience

  The Value You Deliver

  Daily activities will involve designing, development, automated testing, meeting with technology peers (including architecture) to work through technical designs, supporting other developers on the team with their deliverables, and participating in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand up, Backlog grooming, Retrospective meetings)Gathers requirements and runs or participates in the systems design effort.Develop maintainable standard and scalable solutions. Ensure the junior team members follow the same principles.Adhering to project timelines, addressing, and resolving technical issues.Ensuring code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing are completed efficiently and effectively.Fosters teamwork/motivation and spirit of collaboration with project team and business and systems partnersProviding technical leadership and mentoring to more junior team members.

  The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$179,000 per year.

  Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

  Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
