  Job Summary

  This position is responsible for assisting with leading the team with all divisional short-term and long-term execution of Value Based Care programs, assisting the leadership team on executing the business plan, expanding, and optimizing business processes, analytics, and working with the divisional functional leadership on business plans that define new programs and functional areas. Working with enterprise areas to ensure there is alignment with Value Based contracting in alignment with program design for each market. Documenting and conducting analysis of competitive and market information for the division and ensuring integration with overall strategy.

  This is a Flex position (3 days in the office), the position is located in Chicago, IL

  Required Job Qualifications:

  Bachelor degree and 6 years experience in health care, health insurance, or strategic consulting environment OR Bachelor degree and 5 years consulting experience involving strategic planning, business development and financial management operations OR 8 years of experience strategic planning, market research, network management, or product development in health care industry.Experience leading and formulating strategy with the ability to build strong connections with people and teams.Drive results by working across departments in matrixed environment.Interpersonal skills, including presentation, written and verbal communication.Experience with business analytics and information synthesis.Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trendsAble to work within a very fast-paced, quickly evolving organization and manage multiple, complex priorities.Work directly with corporate leadership.Analytical, program management and problem solving skills.

  

  Preferred Job Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Math, Economics, or FinanceAdvanced degree such as Juris Doctor, MBA or MHA.Knowledge of Health Care Legislation - Medicare and MedicaidFinancial Aptitude.Knowledge of government reporting and analytics;Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple workstreams.Value Based Care Operations and Implementation experienceWorking knowledge of WRIKEAbility to build rapport and effectively partner with Actuarial, Strategy, Finance/Accounting, and Network, etc.Analytical Thinking: Approaches a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach; makes a systematic comparison of two or more alternatives; notices discrepancies and inconsistencies in available information; identifies a set of features, parameters or considerations to take into account, in analyzing a situation or making a decision; approaches a complex task or problem by breaking it down into its component parts and considering each part in detail; weighs the costs, benefits, risks and chances for success, in making a decision identifies many possible causes for a problem; carefully weighs the priority of things to be done.Communication for Results: Writes and speaks effectively, using conventions proper to the situation; states own opinions clearly and concisely; demonstrates openness and honesty; listens well during meetings and feedback sessions; explains reasoning behind own opinions; asks others for their opinions and feedback; asks questions to ensure understanding; exercises a professional approach with others using all appropriate tools of communication; uses consideration and tact when offering opinions.Conceptual Thinking: Sees crucial differences between current situation and things that have happened before; quickly identifies the central or underlying issues in a complex situation.Information Seeking: Recognizes and interprets the information problem; establishes a plan of search; conducts the search; evaluates the results, and if necessary, iterates through the process again.Initiative: Identifies what needs to be done and takes action before being ask or required to; does more than what is normally required in a situation ; seeks out others involved in a situation to learn their perspectives; takes independent action to change the direction of events.
