We are looking for a Principal Data Processing Unit Software Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding your teammates, driving architecture and best practices, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software products. You will be expected to leverage your extensive experience in software development to mentor and lead your team, while also collaborating with other senior engineers to develop and implement innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
As a Principal Data Processing Unit Software Engineer you will be responsible for:
Drive the design and architecture of the core DPU runtime software
Collaborate with partner teams to align strategies, improve processes and ensure the successful execution of projects
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, promoting adoption of best practices in embedded software design
Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity within the team
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience.
6+ years’ of experience in embedded software development and system design
3+ years' of experience in Software / Hardware interfaces, simulations, and systems bring-up
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Pythono OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience.
Experience in systems design
Proficiency in embedded software development and kernel expertise
Software Engineering IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $158,500 - $276,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $202,800 - $304,200 per year.
