The role as QuickBooks Capital credit strategy lead will dive into three areas to help the business grow:
Drive new lending business initiatives from credit risk expert perspectiveEnsure our loan portfolio is within our risk tolerance while growing the portfolio.Partner with our data science and data engineering teams to leverage the latest technology and models to serve our QuickBooks customers' financing needs
What you'll bring
Design, implement, and monitor new credit tests that enable Capital to serve more customers while managing credit risk Partner with Marketing and Customer Experience teams to develop marketing campaigns, customer entry points, and new lending offerings that help improve product awareness and adoptionUse big data technology to mine massive transactional data and translate credit risk analyses into actionable business opportunitiesTeam up with our data scientist, underwriting, data engineering teams closely to drive customer segmentation, develop innovative credit strategies, and perform portfolio analysesDive deep into our lending portfolio performance and design credit policy proposals that will improve business KPIsBuild great ownership and leadership by working collaboratively with business partners (product development, product management, marketing, data engineering, compliance, underwriting team etc.) to design new products to increase our market share
How you will lead
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business problems and KPIs from multiple stakeholder perspectivesMS/PhD in quantitative fields such as Statistics, Operational Research, Industry Engineering, Finance, Economics etc. Or Bachelor Degree in same fields with 5+ years working experience or equivalent work experience5+ years working experience in an analytics related role leading credit strategy. Lending experience at a bank or Fintech strongly preferredHaving risk related domain knowledge, such as credit bureau attributes and scoring, customer acquisition, scorecard modeling, loan amount assignment, pricing, loss forecasting, or collectionsProven analytical thinker that can leverage excellent communication skills to translate complex quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insightsAbility to learn fast and work in a fast-paced working environment, and confidence in taking end-to-end ownership of a projectProficient in one of the following analytics tools, such as Python, R, and SAS.Advanced Excel skills with strong logical and SQL/relational database query skillsExperience developing beautiful dashboards with visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or DomoMeticulous attention to detail
