Reporting to Sr Manager Operational Excellence, Principal Business Strategy provides overall program management and thought leadership to Discover Home Loans product teams to implement solutions across three key dimensions: change management, operational excellence, and risk management through the discipline of "Knowing your Processes".
Responsibilities:
Manages the development and implementation of business and/or customer service strategies, performance updates, and optimization strategies that support business goalsDrives continuous improvement through process discipline and innovation by partnering with technology and/or other cross-functional teams to implement digital servicing capabilities to minimize key stakeholder and/or customer experience friction and reduce costsMitigates business risk while designing process and strategy changes which improve key performance indicators within span of control.Supports operations and other business partners through design, implementation, administration, and testing of processes and strategies in all business/customer service channels.Implements the Operational Excellence governance framework and standard work in Discover Home Loans line of business.Provides logistical support and leadership for activities driven by the Change Management enterprise standard. Assesses maturity against the Change Management standard and advises product teams on implementation of standard requirements.Optimizes DHL business processes and workflows intended to drive Operational Excellence and ensure compliance with Change Management requirements.Creates and updates status reports of program initiatives, activities, and risks. Works across key stakeholders to actively manage blockers. Ensures transparency by providing timely communication and escalation to management.Drives organizational engagement for initiatives that drive Operational Excellence, while creating a culture of effective risk management and accountability. Provide overall direction and support to the DHL leadership team in defining, prioritizing, pursuing, and monitoring major initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors' Degree in Marketing or Business, or related field4+ years' experience in customer Service or Business RelatedIn lieu of a degree, 8+ years' experience in Customer Service or Business Related

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
