JOB OVERVIEW:
The Pricing Manager leads the Appliances NA/EU Pricing organization and is generally responsible for defining and implementing price strategies, driving continuous improvement actions, leveraging commercial & custom analytics to optimize prices, and attracting & developing the best pricing talent in the industry. The Pricing manager will work closely with sales, product management, Finance, Legal, and Customer Care teams. The successful candidate will be part of the Pricing Leadership Team and report to Director of Pricing.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Works with regional sales leader/product management to establish the regional pricing strategy (NA/EU direct and NA channel business), define and maintain key account pricing playbook.Drive the adoption of the pricing strategy and models while ensuring the proper processes and tools are in place to support the implementation and monitoring of the business unit's pricing strategy.Monitor overall customer profitability and price realization, identify customer margin and price maximization opportunities and drive recommendations for the business unit for margin improvement actions across multiple product lines, customers, and customer segments.Ensure proper analytics & KPIs exist to drive value-based behaviors and corrective actions.Lead a team of pricing analyst and performs managerial responsibilities, including, but not limited to: Building and driving a high-performance team, Succession planning, developing, and coaching direct reports.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
10+ years of experience in pricing or equivalent type roleFluent in EnglishProficiency in SAP tool and MS Excel and data analyses. Tableau and PowerBI is a plusExcellent analytical skills and capabilityGood communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organizationAbility to lead and influence across teams without formal authorityProven ability to conceptualize and analyze complex business problems and issuesAbility to effectively work under pressure and to meet challenging targets
