THA is seeking a PrEP Retention Manager (PRM). This position will manage the day-to-day management of the Kind Clinic PrEP retention team and will directly oversee the retention specialist. The team aims to facilitate ongoing access to PrEP and clinical services, promote daily medication adherence, empower patients through education, maintain open communication for optimal service utilization and patient satisfaction, empower patients with agency over their bodies, healthcare, and sexual wellness, and assist clinical staff and patient advocates in current PrEP retention efforts. This role will report to the Director of Patient Support Services
What you would do:
Lead various patient retention, re-engagement, and patient navigation functions for our PrEP program within Kind Clinic locations.
Develop and maintain a system for tracking patient retention efforts, patient scheduling, and reasons for patients’ disengagement from PrEP services.
Assist the Director of Patient Support Services in benchmarking performance metrics regarding the PR team and developing innovative strategies to improve performance.
Be responsible for hiring and supervision of a multidisciplinary team of staff that will engage in retention efforts and patient re-engagement through a variety of methods.
Practice a customer-oriented approach to healthcare delivery as demonstrated by interactions showing respect, knowledge, responsibility, compassion and sensitivity, cultural competence, and access to care.
Work with clinic administration and support services to ensure that all functions related to PrEP services are coordinated effectively including appointment and lab scheduling, payer and assistance applications, and pharmacy partner operations.
Provide leadership, coaching, support, and training to staff. Be responsible for staffing, performance management, professional development, recruitment, and retention of staff.
Ensure staff understand and comply with organization protocols applicable to their job function.
Provide direct feedback to team members to enhance quality, accuracy, and client satisfaction with the services clients receive.
Effectively coach team members on ways to improve customer service.
Assist in the development of technology and service innovations to create a system of communication and coordination across Kind Clinic departments that improve patient retention and satisfaction.
Foster a positive communication environment including eliciting creativity, staff ideas, concerns, and suggestions.
Report on team member concerns and ideas to management.
Routinely communicate information to team members regarding administrative operations.
Assist with development and/or implementation of clinic-specific policies, procedures, and programs and monitors adherence to organization-wide policies/standardizations.
Assist with budget forecasting and monitoring of team expenses.
Maintain a work environment free of unlawful harassment and discrimination.
Prepare and analyze reports on team performance and metrics as needed.
As a member of management, ensure achievement of agency goals, vision, and mission.
Foster teamwork within retention team as well as across Clinics, Departments, and functions.
Compensation
Based on job duties and requirements, this position is placed in salary band 43 with a range of $55,000 - $62,000 annually. Initial placement within this range will be based on hired candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

Requirements
Your previous education, work, and experience include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
3+ years related experience, with 2 years minimum experience in a medical office/clinic in management/supervisory capacity can substitute for degree requirements
Management of direct reports
Demonstrated experience and proficiency with tools, technology and systems typically found in a healthcare environment (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite, EMR systems, etc.)
Your previous education, work, and experience ideally would include:
Master’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
5 years related experience, ideally with experience in HIV prevention, PrEP administration, and care navigation in an integrated care setting
Proficiency in speaking Spanish
Knowledge of PrEP services and delivery
