About Physical Security Specialist I

  CO Salary Range: USD 50,500.00 - 80,500.00 per year

  This position is responsible for the administration, project management and implementation of the physical security programs in a manner consistent with Charter policies, procedures, quality standards, customer needs and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. This role will provide divisional in- field strategic direction to program compliance and efficiency; guiding and assisting in managing modifications and upgrades to identified systems/equipment. This includes physically responding to a location to assess the systems failure and to immediate mitigate the issue to restore physical security systems.

  Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

  Provide program management oversight of divisional physical security projects, physical installations and repairs of security systems by managing integrator activity to ensure compliance with departmental standards, timelines and budget Complete annual facility security risk assessment for division sites, documenting and assessing findings in a timely manner and presenting recommendations to appropriate departmentsMeeting with site leaders to review findings and provide recommendations Complete site security assessments of Charter facilities within assigned division using the CrimeCast tool to identify gaps in security and subsequent mitigation strategies; brief executive leadership of observations and recommend solutions Project manage the implementation of security access, alarm, and video systems within the division to include overall planning, costs, communications, integrator installation, testing and project risks. If necessary, provide onsite guidance for vendor equipment installation in order to address technical issues, system updates, and repairs Act as the visitor management system administrator to ensure system is properly installed, programed and functioning as designed Supervise contract integrators with the installation of security and alarm systems in Charter facilities and retail locations; manage quotes, invoicing, and payment for security system installations Manage security access systems, alarms, and CCTV systems within division, handling installation plans, technical issues, system updates, and repairs; ability to operate these systems in high-stress environments / situations Provide oversight and monitoring of security systems to ensure operational effectiveness, check security access systems, alarms, and video systems within the division on a consistent basis in coordination with the Project Management Group (PMG) Work with Security Coordinators and Physical Security Specialist II to continually evaluate and determine strategic division site needs and provides in-field support whenever necessary Available 24/7 as the primary point of contact for service issues/alarm notifications, and PSOC after hour notifications regarding system failure issues associated with Corporate Physical Security Department systems Available to respond to phone, email, and other communicated after hour system concerns to find quick resolution of service issues Travel to Charter's facilities across the Enterprise to coordinate and oversee on-site security risk assessment for division facilities, documenting findings and incorporating the crime related index with an algorithm to evaluate overall risk to the location, then present recommendations to appropriate business units Liaison with local law enforcement and other security professionals as it pertains to security matters Perform other duties as requested

  Required Education

  High school diploma required or equivalent combination of education and experience

  Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years

  Experience handling access controls, alarms, or CCTV systems - 2-3

  The pay for this position has a salary range of $50,500.00 to $80,500.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
