Thisrole will be based in one of many Mercer offices. This is a hybrid rolethat has a requirement of working at least three days a week in theoffice.
We will count on you to:
Advise on strategic asset allocation and dynamic glide path designfor pension plansUnderstand asset classes, risk and return tradeoffs, plan design,liability features, and plan sponsor constraints to developinvestment strategiesPartner with Client Portfolio Directors to present results ofasset-liability studies, glide path reviews, and portfolio structurereviewsModel pension liabilities and fixed income portfolios utilizinginternal and external risk models to assess risk exposures,including plan-specific liability duration profile and credit spreadriskUnderstand pensionplan liabilities, designfeatures, and risk driversthat influence hedge portfolio developmentLead clients and deliver advice on investment strategy issues, riskmanagement / reduction in relation to pension plans, ensuringclients receive high quality advice while incorporating Mercer'sintellectual capitalBe a subject matter expert in pension risk management and journeyplanning, including liability-driven investments and pension risktransferDefine and implement long-term business strategy, direction andfocus, engaging staff to deliver business resultsIdentify the need for change within the business and decisivelybring essential, ambitious and accelerated change into existence andthen sustain its benefits despite being confronted with resistance,barriers and blockages.Attract, engage and advance only the best talent and champion aculture that people want to join and commit to.Contribute strongly to meeting aggressive revenue growth targets.Responsible for developing business with new and existing clientsacross all business lines and geographies, collaborating to leverageresources and expertiseEnsure all professionalism/compliance processes are understood andfollowedWhat you need to have:
8+ years' experience in pension and/or investment strategy, withsignificant expertise in eachStrong presentation, project management and communication skillsHigh proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of data analysis, project management, and presentationdesignHigh-level attention to detail and an understanding of itsapplication to the bigger pictureAbility to acclimate quickly to understand asset-liability riskmanagement and business concepts and apply critical thinking to theissues which will arise during projectsWhat makes you stand out:

The applicable base salary range for this role is $88,000 to $176,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience,skills, training, location, certifications, education, and anyapplicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on acase-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may beeligible for performance-based incentives.
