Summary:
Cook Children's Health Care System (based in Fort Worth, TX) has initiated a national search for a board certified/board eligible pediatric surgeon for our newest opportunity in Prosper, Texas. Cook Children's currently has two pediatric surgeons at the Prosper location.
This is a state-of-the-art medical facility including multispecialty outpatient clinics, urgent care, as well as a free-standing children's hospital that includes emergency services, medical/surgical unit, and operating rooms. The pediatric surgical group performs a wide variety of cases and sees patients in outlying clinics.
• ur integrated physician network is comprised of over 500 pediatric specialty and primary care physicians. Additional opportunities within the practice include potential locums work at a sister facility and investment potential in a nearby Cook Children's surgery center. The salary is very competitive and includes call stipends.
Prosper Independent School District is the most rapidly expanding school district within the DFW region, bringing in 3,000 new students annually. It is one of the most sought after public school systems in the region, with 28,000 students currently enrolled.

Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.
• .) required.American Heart Association BLS and PALS.Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date).Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency for pediatrics.Must be Board certified/Board Eligible in pediatric surgery.
