Job Description
By joining the Healthcare and Life Sciences product team, you will play a key role in shaping how ServiceNow enables Life Sciences institutions to innovate through digital transformation, by enhancing operational efficiency and elevating customer and employee experiences. You will also play a vital role in accelerating the Company's growth strategy by being a core member of ServiceNow's new industry team. We are a growing, entrepreneurial, and passionate team on a mission to transform the life sciences industry.
Role
ServiceNow is looking for an outstanding Outbound Product Management Director - Life Sciences to drive product planning and execution of new products in the newly created Life Sciences Industry Product Team. The ideal candidate will closely partner with other product managers, engineering and horizontal product teams, as well as go-to-market, marketing, and sales teams, to craft a compelling industry product offering and follow through with impeccable roadmap execution - leading to creating world-class products that leverage ServiceNow differentiators to solve key operational challenges for the Life Sciences industry.
The ideal candidate is someone who is a senior domain expert in the Life Sciences industry, feels comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and can do so with minimal guidance.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to define a differentiated product strategy for the life sciences industry.
• Collaborate with others to define and execute on a product roadmap for the life sciences industry.
• Closely partner with go-to-market teams to ensure that product strategy and roadmap are aligned with customer and market opportunities.
• Promote ServiceNow's Industry vision with industry influencers, strategic partners, and analyst firms.
• Partner with and influence horizontal products and platform roadmaps to leverage new platform capabilities that benefit both the life sciences industry and the entire ServiceNow product portfolio.
• Work with ISV and SI partners to complement the product roadmap, bring holistic solutions to the market, and accelerate market traction.
• Understand the competitive landscape and where ServiceNow fits into the life sciences ecosystem.
• Drive product adoption with customers and stay closely plugged into customer, partner, and field feedback to improve the product and drive the roadmap.
• Be instrumental in driving user experiences that delight end users while delivering value to customers.
• Lead prototyping and early ideation of new product features and capabilities.
• Demonstrate strategies and tactics to deeply understand the users of ServiceNow and bring that perspective back into the organization ("voice of the customer").
• Define pricing, positioning, and packaging of product offerings.
Qualifications
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
• 15+ years of enterprise application product management experience - at least 5 years in SaaS.
• 15+ years of strategic and operational experience in the Life Sciences industry - with deep knowledge and insights on industry trends, competitive landscape, and digital transformation opportunities.
• Entrepreneurial approach and comfort in a dynamic, results-driven environment that includes a background in both small and large organizations.
• Relentless focus on product-market fit.
• Excellent cross-functional collaborator, able to influence and drive cross-functional teams toward a goal. History of teamwork and willingness to roll up sleeves to get things done.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations.
• Understanding and experience with using data and analytics to optimize the user experience and enhance the product.
• Excellent written and oral communication, with the ability to communicate effectively on both technical and business topics; able to present equally effectively to an engineer or to a customer.
• Self-directed with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically; attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
• Thought leadership in Life Sciences industry trends, competitive landscape, and whitespace opportunities.
• Ability to work hands-on, starting small, and scaling up over a period of time.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Practitioner of Agile methodologies and making them work in different organizations and environments.
• Knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and the current applications portfolio is a plus.

For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $198,500 - $347,500, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
