About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Manager for our Lockbox team.
In this role, you will:Manage and develop one or more specialized customer service and operations functional teams within Operations area with complex and risk in functional areaDevelop strategies to improve staffing processes, ensure specialized functions meet regulatory guidelines in support of risk management and complianceEngage stakeholders and internal partners associated within the Operations areaWork independently on moderately complex issues and projectsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development and escalates issues to more experienced managementProvide training, performance, evaluation and coaching of less experienced teamMake decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives and operations of functional area and team to meet business objectivesInterpret and develop policies and procedures for operation functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibilityProvide responsibility for budget and financial performanceCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managersLead team to achieve objectivesManage allocation of people and financial resources for OperationsMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talentRequired Qualifications, US:
4+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of leadership experienceDesired Qualifications:Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Adaptability and ability to think on your feet to adjust and react to daily operations issues. Experience in Lockbox Operations - 4+ YearsExperience leading other exempt level managersAbility to interact with all levels of an organizationAbility to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problemsAbility to identify risks and propose mitigation plansAbility to manage initiatives involving process improvementsAbility to manage to production goals, deadlines, and various metricsExperience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environmentAbility to motivate and provide performance feedback to staffStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyStrong time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsIntermediate Microsoft Office skillsJob Expectations:Flexibility and willing to work non-standard hours; including holidays, weekends & extended shifts.This is a Monday - Friday position with a start time of 4:00 AM and expected to stay till work is completed.Position Location:
