What will your role be?
The Operations Analyst is responsible for the analysis of production data and the preparation of reports to support the decision-making process of the company. The position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work with large data sets. The incumbent will work closely with the production team to ensure that all data is accurate and up to date.
What does this role look like for you?
Be visible as an ambassador for safety by always behaving in a safe manner and always challenging unsafe practices and behaviour of others, role modelling and coaching where appropriate.Ensure SAP Material compliance drives productivity savings.Ensure timely and accurate confirmation and completion of packaging production process orders.Periodically reconcile production figures in SAP and Harford with production planning and resolve variances.Generate production data/metrics, while providing insight and analysis on trends to drive more informed business decisions.Serve as a connection between the Site and Operational technology teams, and vendors to collect and document requirements for new system implementations and enhancements and resolve variances relating to data output.Analyze consumption and production rates and conduct regular waste and loss analysis to determine areas for focus improvement projects.Analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Alignment with stakeholders on production figures and resolve variances on time.
What will you bring to the table?
College degree level qualification or equivalent ideally in an engineering or science-related discipline or qualified through relevant experience. Formal Six sigma qualification desirable.At least 3 years professional experience in data analysis, production planning, or similar role.Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and Operational TechnologyKnowledge in Manufacturing Excellence or Lean MethodologyWorking knowledge of statistical analysis software, such as SAS, R, or SPSSFamiliarity with MRP/ERP systems, such as SAP or Power BI etc.
