Position Summary/Description:
The Department of Radiology at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a full-time ABR and neuroradiology subspecialty certified, or eligible, neuroradiologist. The successful candidate must be proficient at interpreting complex diagnostic neuroradiology studies, including MRI and CT of the brain, head, neck, and spine. Responsibilities include supervising fellows and residents, as well as overseeing fluoroscopic spine procedures. Desirable qualifications include a demonstrated research record and the ability to mentor neuroradiology trainees in academic projects. Education and Experience:
Preferred applicants should be well versed in all aspects of neuroradiology and head and neck imaging including CT and MRI . They should also be able to supervise and assist trainees performing fluoroscopic lumbar punctures and myelography.
