Job Responsibilities:
• Develop Propulsion Systems - System Level Targets based on Top-Down vehicle sensitivity methodology.
• Develop enabler features to ensure compliance with targets.
• Track gap to target at each landmark.
• Inspect and confirm appropriate design features working with design team.
• Root cause NVH issues.
• Conduct driven benchmark analysis and share highlights and benefits of the NVH enablers in time to ensure client refinement competitiveness.
• Participate in subjective vehicles evaluations to drive EDM, HEV Transmission, and Gearbox Designs.
• Establishing NVH enablers required to meet program targets for Chassis and Ride Comfort.
• Responsible for scheduling and coordinating NVH benchmarking, standardized testing and target setting.
• Hybrid Working Position.
• Responsible for ensuring that the vehicle Design Verification Plan (DVP) is completed accurately and on time.
• Responsible for timely root cause and resolution of technical issues.
Required Skills:
• Advanced Engineering Degree, 7 to 10 years proven experience.
• Wind noise/sealing/acoustic package development and/or NVH engineering experience.
• Experience using test techniques including sound transmission loss, absorption, and basic transfer path principles.
• Must be organized, motivated, adept with engineering practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills that can work virtually and collaborate effectively with other team members.
• Understanding of digital signal processing and sound quality metrics.
• Knowledgeable in Computer Aided Design (CAD), CATIA and/or Teamcenter Nx.
• Solid understanding of NVH analysis Software (i.e. LMS, Head AAcoustics, B&K).
• Plants related experience.
