  As the New Business Coordinator, you will provide key accounts New Business Sales support for Account Executives handling employer groups with 101+ employees.

  Positions in this function identify and develop potential business opportunities and new targeted customers or groups, but do not have primary responsibility for closing sales. Establishes and cultivates strategic business relationships with key sales and market influencers, potential new customers, and related community institutions. Works closely with sales and marketing groups to translate business development strategies into specific initiatives, additional market research projects, and selling activities. Management positions in this function may work closely with finance and other functions on potential acquisitions and alliances, but that is not the primary focus of jobs in this function.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Coordinate and execute the New Business Pre-sale process to achieve increased profitable revenue growth. Scrub Pre-sale Obtain missing information from the Brokers/consultant. Analyze case information Complete Proposal Request form Submit cases to manual rating and underwriting Coordinate Case strategy and underwriting issues with the Account Executive Request and coordinate the Geo Access and Disruption reports Update sales tracking system with case information during pre-sale process and upon sale Perform quality review on proposal/financial documents and coordinate printing and collation Educate brokers on both fully insured and self-funded new business requirements (general training and case-specific coaching) Successfully implement new business on UHC platforms Manage customer fulfillment needs Participate in special projects, as requested by management Provide New Business Process subject matter expertise Manage Account Executive broker assignments and updates Ability to multi-task and handle heavy fast paced workload at busier times of year

  Years of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to years of experience

  Required Qualifications:

  1+ years of Sales Support experience (i.e. RFP support, Sales Admin, Sales Coordinator, Sales Operations, etc.) Experience with Microsoft Word (ability to create documents) Experience with Microsoft Excel (manipulate data, create spreadsheets, editing spreadsheets) Experience with Microsoft Outlook (ability to send/receive email and create calendar invites)

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Group Health Insurance industry experience Experience with fully insured or self-funded clients
