About the Role

　　Location: This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office) located in Durham, NC. You must live within a commutable distance from Durham to be considered.

　　This role requires you to be on call for manufacturing incidents that may occur outside of normal work hours.

　　As the Service Integration Expert you will be responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, and retirement of the systems and personnel that are at the core of an organization. The services under the responsibility of Service Integration Expert are typically the underpinning (or supporting) services that enable the delivery of customer-facing IT services.

　　In more simplistic terms, you will be responsible for everything between the wall jack and the handoff to the internet service provider."

　　Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

　　- Management of the IT Infrastructure Setup for 24x7 manufacturing operations at the Durham, North Carolina manufacturing facility for Novartis Gene Therapies. As most services are supported remotely, active coordination with global service teams and good communication skills are essential for success.

　　- Support of existing and expansion of IT Infrastructure supporting the growth and changes for the Novartis Technical Operation facilities as well as TRD departments housed at the Durham facility for clinical trial deliveries.

　　-Align with Global Programs in Novartis IT and IT Infrastructure services for needs of Novartis Gene Therapies and provide guidance to other US Novartis Gene therapies locations.

　　-Balance out support for the US Operations with other on-site support team member.

　　-Drive continuous improvement measured against service delivery and value metrics.

　　- Develops and enhances relationships with key stakeholders, acting as trusted advisor/key point of contact by actively managing expectations and monitoring satisfaction levels and service adoption.

　　-Support Automation teams for touchpoint areas between IT and OT infrastructure.

　　What you'll bring to the role:

　　- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field.

　　- Minimum of 5+ experience in IT infrastructure management ; works with limited supervision.

　　- Quality and standard methodologies around IT Infrastructure to ensure patients receive medicines they need.

　　- Discipline to support a growing commercial organization.

　　- Regulatory experience to support a global reaching GxP operation.

　　- Project management experience to support fast-growing / innovative operation.

　　- Continuous improvement attitude/experience to drive innovation.

　　Nice to have requirements:
