Join us as a .NET Software Engineer and become an integral part of our team of exceptional engineers pioneering the next phase of Air Force Intelligence programs. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in software development and engage in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) within a Scrum environment to drive forward the next generation of Department of Defense (DoD) software innovations and solutions. Your primary toolkit will include the .NET framework, where you'll leverage C#, Entity Framework, and a Microsoft backend to ensure the successful delivery of cutting-edge solutions. We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-starting individual who thrives in a collaborative team-driven environment.
This position is located in Newport News, VA with a potential of 25% telework. Some travel is required.
Security Clearance requirement: US citizenship in order to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
Primary Responsibilities
As a .NET Software Engineer, your daily duties and responsibilities will include:
Precisely developing and maintaining software applications in alignment with the team's cadence and velocity, using designated frameworks.Translating requirements into functional software deliverables.Crafting code in accordance with industry best practices and adhering to Defense cybersecurity requirements.Creating and maintaining software documentation and participating in quality assurance activities.Upholding established configuration management practices.Collaborating closely with team members and program leadership on a daily basis.
Basic Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
A Bachelor of Science degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of prior relevant development/engineering experience.Previous experience with the following technologies: Nuxt, Vue, Vite, Pinia, Tailwind, Rest API, .NET Framework (Core, 5, 6, 7), Entity Framework, Typescript, and Javascript.Strong background in relational databases, including Oracle, SQL, and Postgres.US citizenship in order to attain and maintain TS SCI level of DoD security clearance.Knowledge and experience with industry practices and design patterns.Ability to work independently on larger, moderately complex assignments.Professional and collaborative approach to working within the Scrum team and with program managers.Capacity to deliver technical results and provide in-depth analysis of the impact on source code and application functionality.Willingness to engage in coaching and peer review activities for lower-level technical staff.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experiences are considered advantageous:
Experience with Nuxt/Vue or an equivalent front-end framework like Next.js/React, with a preference for Nuxt 3/Vue.js 3.Proficiency in MS SQL.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00
