The Role
We are seeking a Simulation Software Engineer to aid in the development of our simulation toolchain in GM Motorsports. You will help develop the complete toolchain for a standalone simulation tool, starting from R&D to project planning through to implementation of both back and front end. Using software best practices, you will help define and support test procedures for vehicles on track to collect the required data to validate existing models. You will be required to deliver all projects to the highest standards, on time and within budget. Deploying models via the FMI standard and a passion for crafting highly accurate and numerically efficient models is important to your and the team's success; experience with Dymola and Modelica are beneficial. This position is open to international hiring and remote work for qualified candidates.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field of study 5 + years of highly validated experience in software design or testing Knowledge of Dymola/Modelica or similar software used for simulation toolchain Experience with Concurrent or dSpace Hardware Real-Time Systems Knowledge of: Java, C/C++, SQL, Modelica Ability to multi-task in a multifaceted, constantly evolving environment, bringing a strong work ethic and integrity; able to work a flexible schedule
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
NASCAR, IndyCar, F1 experience Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related subject Knowledge and experience in tire modeling, construction, testing, and validation Knowledge of FMI standard and deploying FMU's in co-simulation and model exchange Knowledge of: .Net Framework/C#, WPF , Java C/C++, Modelica
Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.
• The salary range for this role is ($90,200 - $144,100). The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
• Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
