The work includes the operation of gasoline, diesel, or electronic powered wheeled vehicles to haul cargo and fuel, transport passengers, or to tow or recover equipment. Responsibilities Major duties and responsibilities include: Operates wheeled vehicles, wheel mounted tractor; or engineering and construction equipment with wheeled or crawler-type traction. Operating passenger buses or passenger ambulance buses regardless of gross vehicle weight. Driving vehicles in restricted traffic environments on government installations, over public roads, and highway, or under cross country conditions. Performing other related duties. Operating platform, van stake and dump trucks, fuel trucks, and trash truck removal trucks which have a gross weight of 26,000 pounds up to 32,000 pounds.
