  Job Overview

  TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

  What your background should look like:

  Job brief:

  1.Take responsible for the entire Supply Chain Management team and day to day business. Role as senior executive for customs. Be a member of Sibas operation share, initiate and drive the best practice across Supply China Organization inside Sibas Plants, Vendor Plants. Work with multiple function teams to lead team member (Virtual Sometimes) to initiate, develop and deploy supply chain projects (cross territory) for tactical purchasing function with objective of minimize inconsistency in factory, maximize transactional efficiency, drive continues improvements ( e.g. LT & Inventory Reduction ). Build up and development Management pipeline in Supply Chain. Take the leadership to manage sourcing plants on Demand Planning, Capacity and Delivery Targets, production planning & material planning concept including

  1.Build up / enhance existing Supply Chain Team and prepare for Management Pipeline

  (i) Enhance existing Supply Chain Talents to make them ready for the next level career movement.

  (ii) Build up solid Supply Chain skill sets in existing team, optimize the setup and improve the efficiency of the entire Supply Chain process.

  2.Deploy and control S&OP Processes

  (i) Well Deploy and control on the Forecast & Operation Demand Management (S&OP Process ).

  (ii) Follow up and control all the relevant changes during different day to day business and make sure all related Supply Chain KPIs are balanced.

  3.Manage SAP System and build up Key Users to maintain the system in good condition

  (i) Set up clean Master Data into the SAP System, arrange regular review to make sure all Master Data are representing the most recent Business Needs. The coverage will be but not limited about following lists Lead Time, MOQ, Safety Stock Level, Rounding Value, Transportation, Packaging etc.

  (ii) Set up the SAP Key Users system to make sure we have solid System Competency to cover the needs from SAP. And prepare the backup solution and set up the regular technical training to improve the entire team's efficiency.

  (iii) Make sure internal competency and match the future business growth needs on the SAP side. Be ready to support and cooperate with any new coming projects.

  4.Manage Plant on Capacity & Delivery performance

  (i) Set up regular link between Supply Chain Team and all kinds of functions in Sibas. Focus on Capacity Management and Delivery Performance Management

  (ii) Set up Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Review meetings with key and critical suppliers to share the Forecast Information, follow up the Capacity evolution status, settle down the allocation keys during capacity peak period. Make sure Sibas always has sufficient capacity to meet business needs.

  (iii) Coordinate with Quality, Procurement team to do the regular vendor performance review and set up backup solution to secure and smooth the Sibas delivery.

  5.Manage day to day order process and achieve STR, STS targets

  6. Continuous improve on the Supply Chain working process

  7. Manage Plant logistics and customs

  Education, Technical Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 15 years working experiences with 8 years people management experience and management position.

  • Solid experience on Demand Management, Mass Production Planning, Material Planning, Warehouse Management, Transportation and Custom Clearance.

  • Excellent communication and project management skills

  • Cost sensitivity and change adaptability

  • Good business acumen and cost reduction knowledge

  • Fluent English
