Qualification - * Minimum of high school diploma or GED preferred * No experience necessary, you will be trained for the position * Demonstrated ability to deal successfully with program and/or accreditation standards * ASAM educated or willing to become certified. * Support a holistic approach Must pass a background and reference check No criminal record * Valid drivers license and dependable transportation * Understanding of the disease concept of addiction * Knowledge of the 12 Step program * Strong verbal communication skills Understanding of boundaries Job Duties and Responsibilities include: Provide individual support. Supervise resident compliance with rules. Provide assistance in crisis intervention situations Perform periodic walk throughs and log in census. Contribute to a supportive interpersonal atmosphere Record and file necessary paperwork. Supervise medication process and times. Must be able to drive the Program van to transport residents, and transport in own vehicle if necessary. Attend & participate in team meetings as requested and Communicate effectively with residents and stall in other areas Maintain resident, employee, and agency information confidentiality in accordance with federal and state laws and funder requirements. Ensure compliance with program/department. agency and/or funding requirements, as well as policies & procedures, and other duties assigned as needed. Physical Requirements: Ability to ascend and descend stairs in a residential building Ability to drive program van, if needed. Participate in group physical activities and program outings. Paid Training * Hours: 40 hours -shift work including weekends * Pay: $15.50 Day/afternoon Shifts $16.50 Midnight Shift
