Description
A hospital in Baltimore, MD is seeking a customer service-oriented individual to fill their open position as a Fronk Desk Representative! Must be reliable, patient, empathetic and timely.
Job duties include:
Assists callers and/or visitors to the hospital, including patients, physicians and members of the community, providing accurate
information and efficient service. Executes established procedures for Codes and other emergencies. Provides answering
services for designated physicians. Monitors and responds appropriately to various alarm systems within the hospital. Follows
customer service guidelines and principles.
Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies,
procedures, quality standards, and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.
Requirements • Proficiency in handling inbound telephone calls, demonstrating the ability to manage high call volumes efficiently.
• Experience in providing telephone support, ensuring timely and accurate responses to patient inquiries.
• Ability to check patients' medical records and understand their medical history for better assistance.
• Experience in contacting patients for follow-ups, appointment reminders, and relaying important information from healthcare providers.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on providing superior service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Proficiency in verifying insurance benefits, understanding the intricacies of different insurance plans and coverage.
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry, familiar with medical terminologies and healthcare procedures. TalentMatch®
