  ROLE SUMMARY

  As part of the new CMO's Organization and reporting to the Global Head of Media, the Media Finance & Operations Director will manage a team responsible for all financial processes and workflows to support related to the Paid, Owned and Earned Global Media Team. The Media Finance & Operations Director will drive strategic financial planning in alignment with internal departments to provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support business growth.

  Media Operations and Budget Lead

  Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets and forecasts including financial modeling and scenario analysis for all Pfizer brands globally.Serve as a key liaison between the Pfizer Global Media team, the Media Agency and various Finance and Procurement teams to develop realistic budgets and monitor expenditures against budgets and provide guidance and support for understanding of budgetary considerations and financial targets.Be the liaison and main point of contact to the Biopharma CMO Finance team in leading and participating in the development of the monthly, quarterly, and annual finance submissions (forecasts, reconciliations, quarter/year-end closes).Act as an expert user of Pfizer's internal and external finance and procurement platforms (POD, Ariba, etc.) and lead the development of new tracking and reporting templates; helping to prepare tools and processes for future planning and analysis.

  Media Budget Tracking

  Maintain accurate budget management across all brands in partnership with the Media Agency & internal finance liaisons, answer questions related to billing, resolve variances in billed vs. planned, and close out quarterly PO's. Monitor and track Agency's budget, DEI investment and savingsAssist the Biopharma CMO Finance team acting as the main point of contact for resolving questions, issues, or discrepancies with each Brand's Finance teams.

  Forecast & Analysis

  Collaborate with CMO leadership to track media budget changes across brands and campaigns.Develops automated standard processes and reporting to reduce reporting burden and increase meaningful/value added analyses.Perform Ad-hoc analysis and special Projects as needed.

  Payments

  Ensure the processing of invoices for payment and work with multiple partners to facilitate on-time remittance.Request, monitor, and maintain purchase orders ensuring POs align with media authorization forms (MAFs) issued by media agency (Publicis). Facilitate invoice tracking and analyze payment data. Ensure timely approval of invoices each month, and quickly resolve any vs. expected expenses.

  Process Development & Implementation

  Create and implement new governance processes to ensure budget tracking and approval in alignment and partnership with Biopharma CMO finance team to ensure alignment with Enterprise-wide financial and operating planning.Promote the development and sustainability of team policy, procedure and aid in any key budget documentation, tracking and reporting.

  Management

  Lead the Media Finance & Operations Team and motivate direct reports to deliver their work with Excellence.Manage performance of direct reports through goal setting, ongoing assessment and coaching and performance evaluation

  BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  BA/BS Degree in Finance/Accounting or related Field with 10+ years work experience in FinanceUnderstanding of media vendor landscape and direct partner relationshipsExperience working in a collaborative environment with internal partners, 3rd party vendors, and agencies.Demonstrated analytical ability and strong computer/systems skills. Confirmed experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) required.Proficient experience in large data sets and Excel formulasProven track record, working with a sense of urgency and curiosity in fast-paced, dynamic environment.Exceptional interpersonal skills and mastery of working in a matrixed environment.Superior organizational and leadership skills; ability to influence, manage and drive action of the efforts of team members.

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  Managerial experienceMedia Agency or client-side experience directly managing media budgets and establishing financial processes.Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment a plus

  The annual base salary for this position ranges from $156,900.00 to $261,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. The United States salary range provided does not apply to Tampa, FL or any location outside of the United States.

  The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $141,200.00 to $235,400.00.

  Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
