What You'll Do:
• Assist in the generation of requirements, development, architecture and I&T of an advanced EO system on an embedded platform.
• Develop requirements data base and verification methodology for sensor interfaces, sensor management and fusion.
• Generate ICD & Specs, release & coordinate requirements documentation, support I&T team activities.
• Lead the requirements team through SRR and PDR.
• Work with a team of system engineers and interdisciplinary subject matter experts to analyze and document the system requirements in DOORS.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience developing models in both SysML and UAF environments
• Experience with previous system design of a product through various program phases
• Hands on experience with systems design tools DOORS and either Cameo or Rhapsody
• Familiarity with the product development process and Systems Engineering an and a mastery of the systems engineering "why" behind the steps
• Ability to lead/coach a team of architects through a modeling effort
• System architecture experience using Cameo and/or Rhapsody
• Previous exposure to SE architecture, model based systems engineering, mission analysis, requirements analysis, functional and physical system architecture development, or other SE artifact development processes or practices
• Experience creating work products for SRR, SFR, PDR, or CDR milestones
• Willingness to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment to meet an aggressive schedule
• Organized individual with strong interpersonal relationship skills
• Active Secret clearance that has been investigated within the last 5 years or a CV date within 5 years
• Ability to work onsite in a closed laboratory environment
• Ability to travel to support customer and subcontractor meetings
Desired Skills:
• Experience architecting weapon or sensor systems
• Working on an Agile team
- Ability to break down complex system design tasks for team members to work on
• Ability to mentor team members on requirements best practices
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
